Elizabeth & Michael @ The American Museum of Natural History
AN ENCHANTED FOREST ORTHODOX WEDDING FOR 550
A FLOOD OF MEMORIES
By the time Michael came to pick Elizabeth up at her Parent’s home on their wedding day, the storms that had been predicted were just beginning. While her parent’s home was literally across the street from the American Museum of Natural History it was still going to seem like a long, rushed, and unpleasant walk in their vintage Valentino dress and bespoke Tom Ford tuxedo.
Having lived on the Upper West Side for many years and having practically raised my kids using the Museum as a playground, I knew that the Central Park West subway entrance right around the corner from their home could serve as a tunnel that could lead our entire entourage directly to the Museums’ underground entrance. The idea provided not only a respite from the rain, but also some wonderful photo ops!
I even got the token booth clerk to let us all pass through the turnstiles for free!
Afterwards, Elizabeth would tell Vogue that it was one of the most memorable moments of the night!
